In the early 1900s the construction companies managed by the entrepreneurs Giuseppe Cucchiella and Francesco Petrichella establish themselves in the Italian building and public works scene. Subsequently under the guidance of Orfeo Cucchiella the family companies’ structure and know how are strengthened and unified with the establishment of the Cucchiella S.p.A. in 1970, which operates in the fields of public road and hydraulic works and in public and private construction.

The national companies are joined by an international structure headed by the Cucchiella S.p.A. through the acquisition of important work portfolios the most relevant of which were road works in Saudi Arabia. The new structure’s managerial expertise and technical skills
led the Company, its subsidiaries and affiliates towards a process of continuous evolution and improvement up to the 2000s. This process allows the company to achieve greater efficiency and effectiveness in the acquisition and management of contracts.

To maintain its renewal and avant-garde business culture, which shaped its managerial and operational perspective, at the end of the 90s a radical reorganization of the group was carried out and with the contribution of the Cucchiella S.p.A’s branch involved in the public works and the real estate sector, in 2000 the following company was established
INTEC – INFRASTRUCTURES AND CONSTRUCTION TECHNOLOGIES – S.p.A.
which is entirely owned and managed by the Cucchiella Group.
